Thomas J. Pilacek

Thomas J. Pilacek has been engaged in the active practice of law in Florida since 1972. His firm Thomas J. Pilacek & Associates is located in Winter Springs, Florida. His practice includes representation of employees and labor organizations in labor and employment matters, as well as representation of both employees and employers in litigation and in regulatory proceedings before state and federal courts and administrative agencies.

Mr. Pilacek obtained a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (1969) and J.D. degree from Marquette Law School (1971). He is a member of the Florida and Wisconsin Bars; is Florida Bar Board Certified as a Specialist in Labor and Employment Law; is a member of the American Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, Orange County Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice; is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and numerous federal district and circuit courts; is co-author of two employment litigation treatises, and is a lecturer and instructor in labor and employment seminars.

Mr. Pilacek is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell, and has been selected for inclusion under the category "Labor and Employment Discrimination Law" in the 1987 through 2001 editions of The Best Lawyers in America; and in Florida Guide to Law and Leading Attorneys; Guide to Leading US Labor and Employment Lawyers; and various "Who's Who" publications. Mr. Pilacek was named in the July 2001 issue of Orlando Magazine as one of the Central Florida area's 55 Best Attorneys, the only one listed under Labor and Employment Law area of practice of representing Individuals.
